College life brings in many moments and at the same time, teaches many lessons in our lives which get stored in the deepest treasures of our hearts for a lifetime! While some might argue that school life beats college life, many people would tell you that college life was indeed a better experience for them; and yes I happen to belong from the latter class of thinkers. School is definitely amazing and fun, but college life is a symphony of fun, freedom and responsibility which makes it pretty exciting. Wondering why do I tell this? You will probably agree with me by the time you are done reading this article!
It teaches you a lot!
When I say a lot, I mean it. College teaches you to become a responsible person apart from being a fun loving guy. You suddenly become a grown up person in other’s eyes and become a more reliable person to your family. You come to know some of the harshest truths of life during these college years.
The biggest transition from school to college is when you get the freedom to explore, to go out and do things you weren’t allowed to do at school! You get the authority to roam late at night, go to parties, night outs and what not. But remember, with freedom comes responsibility and the way you deal with the 2 defines your character.
Bunking to roam around with friends
If you have not bunked lectures in college to have fun with your friends, definitely you haven’t lived even 1% of the most amazing college time. Best moments are spent when you bunk the classes and spend quality time your friends, something which was very difficult to do during the school time.

“Jabh me chota baccha tha, me badi shararat karta tha, abh jo me bada ho gaya hun badi shararat karta hu” (When I was small, I used to play a lot of pranks, but now that I’ve grown up, I play even bigger pranks). That exactly sums up the difference between the pranks we used to play during the school time and the pranks which we play in the college. How many of the 3 Idiot pranks have you enjoyed?
You get fun loving, crazy and true friends in your college journey. While school friends remain an integral part of your life, college friends add a different flavor to your life. You discuss more meaningful things with your true college friends, and have fun with him at the same time. You meet people with different beliefs and blend along with them and become a better person in the end.
The canteen moments <3
The college canteen has perhaps seen all possible emotions in life – the fights, the cries, the smiles, the laughs, the love, the anger, the break ups and the patch ups, in short, everything! Best moments in the college are spent in the canteen, doing nothing! That is the beauty of college life, you simply enjoy doing nothing! 😉

No worries, no stress
Life seems so easy when we’re in college. Just go out and enjoy with friends, that’s it. You don’t seem to need to worry about the deadly world that’s waiting for you outside the college at all. Just sit back and enjoy – that’s college life for you. The real world seems so far away from us when!
It makes you bold and mature
We often try out a lot of new things in college which otherwise, we were afraid of trying. We do different activities, handle different situations, talk to different people and that makes us much more bold and mature to face the life outside.
It gives you memories of lifetime!
When you grow up and become a grandparent, you definitely will end up sharing your college comments which you lived, the fun you had and the time you spent and end up becoming nostalgic with a smile over your face – that is how these memories will play an important role in your life and keep you happy and motivated all the way long! More moments you make, that many more stories you’ll have to share.
The hardest and the most difficult part of lives are the goodbyes. Sometimes, goodbye is the only way, and college makes you learn to deal those goodbyes like nothing else can. Remember the last day of your college when you all cried, bidding goodbye one last time? Believe me, it has definitely made you stronger than you think!
Some moments in life can never come back, and all the college is just one of those few moments. So just go out and explore, make new friends, spend time with different people and make your college life a memorable one! Share your college life with us in the comments section 🙂
