It is often said that the way to Delhi is through the heart of Uttar Pradesh. BJP proved it to be correct when they historically won 71 out of the 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh during the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. The current Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Varanasi) as well as the Indian National Congress PM Candidate Rahul Gandhi (Amethi), both contested the elections from Uttar Pradesh itself.
Once again in 2017, one of the most important elections are taking place in the heart of Northern India and the throne of Uttar Pradesh is what everybody has set their eye on! We are just moments away from unveiling who is going to rule one of the largest states of India as results are going to be announced on 11th of March. However, the Uttar Pradesh exit poll results are out and here is how the media thinks the seats will be distributed:
Number of seats (out of 403):
|Poll Conducted by:||BJP+||SP + Congress||BSP||Others|
|Times of India (C Voter)||161||141||87||14|
|India Today (Aaj Tak)||251-279||88-112||28-42||6-16|
|Poll of Polls||179||136||77||11|
Most of the Uttar Pradesh Election Exit Poll Results have indicated that the Modi Magic is going to help BJP form a government on its own. All the Uttar Pradesh Exit Poll Results have made it clear that BJP is probably going to emerge as the largest party in the Northern region. However, time and again we have seen exit polls go wrong. Not a long time ago, the Bihar elections had seen exit polls go horribly wrong. The world’s biggest elections – the US Presidential elections saw the exit polls go wrong as well! So as of today, we cannot completely rely on the same.
Time will definitely let us know who is going to get the throne of Uttar Pradesh. But if the Uttar Pradesh Exit Poll Results are to be believed, it’s BJP all the way!
